 Hi

I am having the same problem as in ticket #47

I am getting the error

{"stat":"2","msg":"Continue Shopping<\/a>
Error while adding product in cart: no product ids<\/div>
\n\r\r\r\r"}

when trying to add to cart.

using joomla 3.4.3 / virtuemart 3.0.9

I have a live site which I tried to add the plugin to - when I came across the issue I thought it might be a template / conflict issue so I did a clean install of joomla 3.4.3 / VM 3.0.9 and added nothing new but this plugin - using default template etc

I am getting the same issue

you can see it here http://rskj3vm3.fyica.com/online-store/mens/hoodies-detail

on the previous ticket I found (#47) with this issue you advised to check the console for errors - I did so and the console is reporting errors on the plugin js file

ReferenceError: vmSiteurl is not defined

var base_url = vmSiteurl + 'index.php?option=com_virtuemart&view=cart&task=addJS...

catprod...tent.js (line 343, col 6)

---------------------------

my subscription had expired, so I paid the $50cdn not so much to buy the plugin again, as to get your support - which I am hoping will be prompt, as I am trying to implement this into a site which is already live

please let me know if you need site access

Hi John,

Hm... This one is always tricky, cause vmSiteurl should be defined by VM. Tell me something, do you use adding to cart using ajax, and if not, why not?

There is a setting inside VM configuration->checkout-> "Display modal popup upon 'Add to cart'". Enable it if it's not. Or if there is some problem with this, we can try with defining vmSiteurl url manually by Catproduct.

on both the dev site - which has nothing in it but clean joomnla / Virtuemart / catpro content installs, and the live site the 'Display modal popup upon 'Add to cart'' box is checked.

let me know if you would like admin access to the dev site.

on the live site I have for now completely removed the add to cart option from the plugin and have just the link to product details from product name, potential customers no longer get the error as that cannot click 'add to cart' - but this obviously bypasses the whole reason for the plugin

**don `t know if this makes a difference - they are on GoDaddy

Hi John,

May be true, but it's not working. When I press original VM addtocart but I'm redirected to cart page, no modal msg is shown. So I believe it's something in VM settings.

Please send me access to backend, so I can check. You can send it to info@sm-planet.net .

Hi John,

It seems the problem was "System - jQuery Easy" plugin. I disable it and page works now.

Please check other things if they works - things what you needed this plug-in for.

When this plug-in is enabled it makes total mess with VM javascript and jquery.

vm3 seems so buggy to me, every plugin I try to use has issues - that did seem to fix that issue.

One other thing I`ve noticed

on products where there are child variant options there is uaually a 1st item in the list 'choose a variant' - but when the catpro content is enabled that option disappears!

So it's not VM3 who is buggy, but plug-ins :) Eh... It's hard to make so different stuff to work together. It's mostly jquery issue, cause each extension wants to load own one.

I don't understand what you meanby disappearing - can you show me?

Best Regards,
Maja
