#187 – Price not updating

Hi,
I purchased your easycheckbox plugin in May. I am trying to setup my shopping card and the checkboxes are not updating the price on my page. I have added the custom options correctly and also the prices.

Please see attached the error i am receiving in developer tools.

Please make a selection from the first custom field then click on a check box. you will notice that the price does not change and the JS error happens.

It ajax refreshing issue. Because of that easycheckbox javascript is not loaded.

If you open this page:

you can see it's working.

Can you add easycheckbox also to the parent product:

You can just add it with no selection at all, just that javascript will be loaded.

I can not put the easycheckbox on the parent product because the price changes based on the child product.

The checkbox is working on this page. But it might be because there are no images added in and the image slider is not loading?

It's working on this last link, because easycheckbox is already added when you open the page.

If you open this page:
http://development.newcastlebusinesscards.com.au/plastic-cards-pc-1

you can see that there is no easyceckbox. And no javascript.

And when you select "stock" only html is added by ajax, but not javascript. That's why you get this error: checkboxPrice is not defined
Because this javascript is not added by ajax.

So if you add easycheckbox customfield to parent "plastic-cards-pc-1", it can be empty, no selection, javascript will be already added and script will work.

Thank you for your feedback. I do understand.

I need to have the custom checkbox on the child product and load correctly when a selection is made. the prices on the checkbox vary on each child product, they are not the same. Not all products have the same pricing on the checkbox.

Do you know if there is a solution to this?

You can have different customfields settings for children...
